The neurology department at ACMC provides consultation and treatment for the full spectrum of neurology.   Specifics of the practice include:

  • 1:4 call ~ call is not busy with only rare evening phone call
  • Integrated consultative practice at RiceMemorialHospital
  • Hospitalist program support – no primary admissions, only consultations
    • Approximately 0-3 hospital consults per week
  • Typically seeing approximately 12-15 patients per day ~ headaches, MS, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s, dizziness, dementia, chronic rechecks
  • Procedures ~ EMG, EEG, Botox, InfusionCenter to treat migraines and MS
  • Ability to develop an outreach practice
  • Built-in referral system from over 110 physicians within the organization
  • ACMC provides the only neurologist in the area; therefore, the ability to see everything you feel comfortable with and refer out when necessary.  Extremely interesting cases.

Compensation
