We are currently recruiting for an OB/GYN to join the team of physicians in our Marshall, Minn., clinic.

Specifics of the OB/GYN department include:
  • One OB/GYN physician and two family physicians provide OB care
  • Call coverage expectations:
    • 1:2 weekend and weekday, with supplemental coverage by locums
  • Office visits average 10 to 15 patients per day
  • Approximately 500 births per year at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center
    • Level 1 Nursery 
    • 24/7 ER coverage provided by Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center
    • Hospitalist service available
Practice Includes:

Providing primary, specialty and subspecialty care for women of all ages. 

        Evaluate, manage and treat: 
  • Uncomplicated and high risk pregnancies
  • Disorders of the breasts, genitalia, and internal pelvic structure (such as prolapse or incontinence)
  • Infertility treatment
  • Peri-menopausal and menopausal symptoms and issues
Office procedures: 
  • Colposcopy, Cryotherapy and LEEP procedures for cervical dysplasia
  • Endometrial biopsies
  • Office ultrasound scan and urodynamic studies for urinary stress incontinence
  • Insertion of Nexplanon contraception.
  • Essure Permanent Sterilization
  • Office Hysteroscopy
Surgical procedures include: 
  • C-sections and forceps deliveries
  • Endometrial ablation for heavy menses
  • Vaginal Hysterectomy
  • Cystocele (bladder) and rectocele repairs
  • Hysteroscopic and laparscopic surgery
  • Laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH)
  • Urinary incontinence procedures
